Project Manager

Summary

A management level position that oversees all components of project execution for all phases of path's work site. The position requires extreme attention to detail to the project work scope and schedule deviations. All client reporting is performed by the Project Manager assigned to a given project. The Project Manager will directly oversee all equipment, personnel and plan deviations throughout all phases of the project. All high-level client communication will be the responsibility of the Project Manager with assistance of the Operations group. All ordering of parts, equipment, PPE, transportation and services for a work site will be executed by the Project Manager with approval and guidance from the Senior Project Manager. Concise communication with the field execution team as well as the Operations Management group will be needed to ensure that all project deliverables are met and turned in in a timely fashion.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure that proper attention is being paid to process equipment and that personnel are assigned to different project areas
  • Oversee that all site personnel are performing work that aligns with their current company designation
  • Ability to communicate with clients at the management level
  • Read and comprehend all processing documents such as processing plans, piping diagrams, plot plans, process flow diagrams and process check sheets
  • Directly involved in the training and development of personnel that work in the group
  • Needs to be able to document and communicate all process transfers and project progress to the client contact
  • Ensures all sampling and analysis is being performed and the data is being captured for later analysis and reporting
  • Oversee the frequency of the equipment checks and document all maintenance actions needed
  • Oversee the maintenance of an organized inventory of tools and materials and perform auditing of levels for upcoming processing activities
  • Ability to stay focused on particular tasks despite being in an active and complex workplace
  • Oversee the management of all utilities equipment and ensure their correct operation within the phase of the project. Track fuel usage and trends to be able to accurate predict project spend
  • Able to accurately document tank gauging and volume transfers
  • Manage the safe operation of all project vehicles and mobile equipment
  • Work in appropriate PPE for a variety of areas, including impermeable suits and breathing air apparatus.
  • Remain engaged and providing value to the team despite facing challenging and demanding work conditions and environments
  • Communicate effectively with all coworkers. This includes active leadership in safety discussions for upcoming work activities
  • Ensures all safety systems are managed and followed by all employees
  • Oversee that all equipment, tools, and jobsite are cleaned on a regular basis to uphold professional atmosphere
  • Engage all coworkers with a positive attitude and strive to improve yourself and your teammates every day
  • Always maintain a safe and respectful working environment
  • Provide general labor to support other company workgroups when necessary

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Active TWIC card
  • Active and unrestricted Driver’s License 
  • DISA background score of 2 or less
  • Negative results on all substance abuse testing protocols set forth by company and clients
  • Physically able to perform all duties required including lifting 50 pounds
  • Pass a job specific physical without restrictions

  • Mathematical comprehension to be able to calculate dimensions and weights

Additional Notes

  • Shifts are typically 8-12 hours per day
  • Operations are often 24 hours per day, and all employees must be willing and able to work night shifts
  • Operations are not always suspended during holidays or emergencies
  • Requires outdoor work in variety of environments, including arctic and tropical 
  • Travel requirements are extensive, and often require significant air travel
